The Metropolitan Waste Management Group hosts a range of networks that span the areas of waste prevention, education and business networking.
Metropolitan Local Governments’ Waste Forum (the Forum) - supports the effective operation of MWMG and consists of a councillor and a council officer from each of the 30 metropolitan councils.
Local Government Waste Education Network - a network of waste and sustainability educators from the metropolitan councils in Melbourne.
Councils Litter Environment Action Network (CLEAN) – a network that explores litter issues and approaches.
Schools’ Engagement Network (SEN) - assists councils to help schools reduce waste and spread waste and sustainability messages to the community.
Economic Development and Environment Network (EDEN) - supports Melbourne's councils in exploring opportunities to engage with businesses on sustainability issues and improve their waste management practices.
Transfer Station Resource Recovery Centre Network - a network that assists councils in developing best practice approaches at transfer stations and resource recovery centres.
