Sustainability Victoria surveys all Victorian local councils about their waste and recycling services each financial year. The collection of this data enables the performance of the cost and yield of municipal kerbside services to be evaluated over time.
The data will play a vital role in the formulation of future policy directions for waste management services throughout the state, as well as provide a measure of Victoria's progress towards the delivery of efficient and sustainable kerbside services. To date, Sustainability Victoria has completed eight surveys.
