The Metropolitan Waste Management Group (MWMG) provides support to member Councils wanting to improve their waste management operations. The MWMG does this by facilitating the sharing of experiences of member Councils about what works and doesn't work, by undertaking investigations and research on behalf of groups of member Councils and by providing advice and training to member Councils.

Public Place Recycling links to tools and resources which can help with designing and implementing a Public Place Recycling (PPR) project.

Contract Management contains information on the contracts that are managed by the group, on best practice issues for contract management and data collection through contracts.

Litter contains links, tools, resources and information on the networks run by the MWMG to assist member Councils to implement best practice in litter prevention and to work together to secure external funding.
